Battle calculations

The most important part of the game (gameplay wise) would be the battle system and for releasing the pre-beta we are eager to build this is good as possible. For damage calculation we will be using the same formula used in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl and I can tell you… it’s a bitch! If you are not familiar with this formula let me show you a simplified version.
Total Damage = (((((((Level × 2 ÷ 5) + 2) × BasePower × [Sp]Atk ÷ 50) ÷ [Sp]Def) × Mod1) + 2) × CH × Mod2 × R ÷ 100) × STAB × Type1 × Type2 × Mod3
